Gisi demonstrates how to get a patient, who is unable to help, from chair to bed. If the patient is unable to help, Gisi assists by lifting the patient onto the bed; but when the patient can help, it’s just a matter of guiding and assisting the patient onto the bed. Once again, it is important to note that in the United Kingdom the lifting  would not be appropriate.

ATTENTION:

It would not be appropriate to use this kind of lift in the United Kingdom because of Moving and Handling Regulations
